W I N D O W S 7Software Install for Windows 95Software installation is accomplished using the DocuPrint installerwhich will automatically detect which version of Windows is beingrun and load the appropriate print drivers and CentreWare DP for thatversion. CentreWare DP is the Administration tool that allowsconfiguration and monitoring of your DocuPrint printer.For details on the operation of CentreWare DP, review the chapter inthis manual entitled CentreWare DP Software Instructions.1. Insert the CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.2. Click once on the Start button.3. Select the RUN command. A dialog box will prompt you for theCommand Line.4. TYPE \xrxsetup (substitute your drive letter for).5. Choose the desired language and click NEXT>.6. After a few moments, the Install Shield Wizard will load. A newdialog screen with installation options will appear. Select fromone of these options:• Typical InstallationChoosing this mode will automatically copy all necessarysoftware to your hard disk in a predetermined directory.• Custom InstallationChoosing this mode will give you control over which files arecopied to your hard drive and where they are placed.• Disk Image CopyChoosing this mode gives you the ability to copy the entiredisk set to a local or network drive. This mode isrecommended to install the DocuPrint drivers andCentreWare DP software to multiple stations on a network.
