Each condition setting parameter is automatically saved,and the setting at the termination will be reflected at the next startup.2.5.2 Minimizing PP Oscilloscope ApplicationPressing the {MINIMIZE} button on the Main screen can minimize the PPoscilloscope application. Minimizing means the PP oscilloscope changesto the background process with running. When minimized PPoscilloscope disappears just as the system termination does, but thewaveform measurement process is continued. This is useful when theoperations on the other system screens are necessary with the waveformdata measurement continued.When an alarm or an error occurs on the controller, the PP oscilloscopeapplication is forcefully minimized to display the alarm preferentially.When the PP oscilloscope application is minimized during the datameasurement, the following message is displayed on the message area ofthe Pendant System screen: “Measuring the pendant oscilloscope data.”(See Fig. 2-16).Fig. 2-16: Message Display during the data measurementMinimized PP oscilloscope application can be returned to the original stateby selecting {Pendant Oscilloscope} from the menu as in the startupoperation.29 of 48
