PRODUCT OVERVIEW28 TNV Operation ManualGovernor LeverFigure 12The governor lever (Figure 12, (1)) controls theengine speed. The lever is linked to the enginespeed control device in the driven machine. The high idle speed limit screw (Figure 12, (2))restricts the maximum engine speed when theengine is operated without a load. The low idle speed limit screw (Figure 12, (3))sets engine speed while it is idling.Engine Stop SolenoidFigure 13When the key is turned to the ON position, theengine stop solenoid (Figure 13, (1)) isenergized and allows the fuel injection pump todeliver fuel to the engine, allowing the engine tobe started. When the key is turned to the OFFposition, the engine stop solenoid is de-energizedand shuts off the fuel supply from the fuelinjection pump to the engine, causing the engineto stop.CAUTION0000045enNEVER attempt to adjust the low or highidle speed limit screw. This may impairthe safety and performance of themachine and shorten its life. Ifadjustment is ever required, contactyour authorized Yanmar industrialengine dealer or distributor.(3)(1)(2)0000648A(1)(2)(3)0000026A(1)0000028A
