If the switch is to be installed in a cabinet, the headroom in the equipment roomshould be 3 m (9.84 ft.) at least.3.3.2 Cabinet-Mounting RequirementsBefore mounting the switch in a cabinet, make sure the cabinet meets the followingrequirements:z Mount the switch in an open cabinet if possible. However, if you mount a switch ina closed cabinet, make sure that the cabinet is equipped with a good heatdissipation system.z Make sure that the cabinet is steady enough to support the switch andaccessories.z Make sure that the cabinet fits the switch size, and that there is clearance aroundthe left and right panels of the switch for heat dissipation.
