Clustermanagement is to implement management of large numbers of distributednetwork devices.Cluster management is implemented through 3Com Group Management Protocolversion 2 (Switch Clusteringv2). By employing Switch Clusteringv2, a networkadministrator can manage multiple devices using the public IP address of onedevice in a cluster. The device that configured with a public address and performsthe management function is known as the management device and othermanaged devices are called member devices, which together form a cluster.Figure 267 illustrates a typical cluster implementation.
