Chapter 11. Dial Plan11-14 ATLAS 550 User Manual 61200305L1-1S OURCE ID Write security: 3; Read security: 5Simplifies the creation of a D IAL P LAN in applications where the criterion forswitching calls to a certain endpoint is a function of which endpoint origi-nated the call.• Default value = 0. The default ID for all endpoints is 0 and all acceptnumbers is 0. With default values, all calls are routed based only on thedialed number.• Multiple endpoints can have the same S OURCE ID.• When creating the C ALL ACCEPT list, specify a SOURCE ID(s) as well as adialed number or range of dialed numbers to accept.Example:An application requires that all calls that originate from Port 1 of the ATLAS550 in Slot 1 be switched to Port 2 of that same module. Assign a uniqueSource ID (e.g. 7) to Port 1 of the module, and then configure Port 2 to onlyaccept calls from that unique Source ID (7).S WAP ANI/DNIS Write security: 3; Read security: 5Swaps the ANI and DNIS numbers received from the network. ANI (Auto-matic Number Identification) is the billing number of the calling party, andDNIS (Dialed Number Identification Service) is the called party number.DUAL T1/PRI MODULE: NETWORK TERMINATION/RBSWhen you are working in the network termination section of the D IAL PLANmenu, when S LT is defined as T1/PRI-2, and when SIG is set to RBS, the fol-lowing interface configuration options are available:FIRST DS0 Write security: 3; Read security: 5Defines to the ATLAS 550 the first DS0 for this endpoint. The ATLAS 550uses DS0s, starting with this selection, to send and receive calls to and fromthe network (PSTN). The outgoing calls which are allowed or restrictedover these DS0s are set by the O UTGOING C ALL A CCEPT and R EJECT N UM -BERS (discussed in First DS0 on page 11-11).NUMBER OF DS0 S Write security: 3; Read security: 5Specifies the number of DS0s the ATLAS 550 uses for this endpoint. With this swap, the ATLAS 550 switchboard uses ANI to route thecall. The accept number in the Dial Plan must use the ANI number, not the DNIS number.
