Call routing224 System functions and features as of R3.0syd-0367/1.3 – R3.0 – 03.2013For indirect access the phone number dialled must contain the following informa-tion:• Call number of the destination user.• Network provider required (in the example network provider B).• The code information (in the example for network provider B) used by B to checkwhether the caller is a subscriber to his network.Network provider A can respond to the call in the following way:• He either routes the destination number on directly using his own numberingplan.• He takes the call and waits for code information, such as the destination number,to be transmitted by the caller in DTMF mode.6. 6. 2 LCR functionTo be able to make outgoing phone calls, an internal user normally dials an ex-change access prefix first.If the LCR function is deactivated the communication server routes the call in ac-cordance with the exchange access prefix dialled (see "Exchange access",page 218).If the LCR function is activated and able to analyse the phone number dialled, thephone number will be routed in accordance with the configured LCR criteria. Theexchange access prefix is not analysed by the LCR function.The LCR function can be activated or deactivated throughout the system. If it is ac-tivated, it can be deactivated for individual users.
