The VendorTable and its corresponding entry-specific views provide the followinginformation:ModuleDisplays the unique integer identifier of the module where this port is located.This number is the same as the slot number in which the module is installed.PortDisplays the unique integer identifier of this port within its module. Thisvalue is determined by the location of the port on the module.IDDisplays the vendor ID portion of a MAC address. If the source or destinationaddress has the same vendor ID, a match occurs. If “Deny” is specified in theType field and a match occurs, the packet is dropped. If at least one vendor IDfilter is specified with “Permit” and a match does not occur, the packet isdropped.TypeDisplays the type of action this filter will cause. Selecting “Invalid” removesthis filter from the table. Selecting “Deny” causes packets whose source ordestination vendor ID matches the vendor ID specified in the ID field to bedropped. Selecting “Permit” causes all packets whose vendor ID does notmatch the ID specified in the ID field to be dropped.Protocol TableThe Protocol Table contains a list of protocol filter entries. Double-click a tableentry to access an entry-specific Filter Protocol Table view that allows you tomodify the information presented in the table. The Protocol Table and itscorresponding entry-specific views provide the following information:ModuleDisplays the unique integer identifier of the module where this port is located.This number is the same as the slot number in which the module is installed.PortDisplays the unique integer identifier of this port within its module. Thisvalue is determined by the location of the port on the module.ValueDisplays the 16-bit protocol value.
