It provides the following information:TypeDisplays the type of address contained in the corresponding Address fielddescribed below.AddressDisplays the network layer of the device’s SNMP-agent as reported in themost recent CDP message.Device IDDisplays the Device-ID. A zero indicates no Device-ID was reported.Device PortDisplays the Port-ID. A zero indicates no Port-ID was reported.PlatformDisplays the devices hardware platform.CapabilitiesDisplays the devices functional capabilities.Interface Discovery Status TableThis table contains the status of Cisco Discovery Protocol on the device'sinterfaces. It provides the following information:DiscoveryDisplays information about the type of devices in the network, configurationinformation about the links connecting those devices, and the number ofinterfaces within each device.GroupDisplays the group number of the repeater port which corresponds to thisinterface.PortDisplays the port number of the repeater port which corresponds to thisinterface.IntervalDisplays the interval at which the CDP messages are to be generated on thisinterface. The default value is 60 seconds.
