The options menu willthen be displayed.E NABLE /D ISABLE B RIDGINGWhether or not to use bridging depends on network requirements. The RLAN interface will workeither way. For this example, we will assume that we only want to route IP traffic onto the corporateLAN. Therefore, we will disable bridging on the CyberSWITCH. IP routing is already enabled asfault, so no change is necessary.For this example, the only other IP information we need to configure is two IP interfaces. (No staticroutes are needed.) The next section will provide the instructions needed to configure the necessaryIP interfaces.C ONFIGURING THE IP I NTERFACE I NFORMATIONIn our example, we need to configure two types of interfaces. The LAN interface represents thesystem connection to the LAN IP Network 128.1.0.0. The WAN RLAN interface represents thesystem connection to the remote IP network 198.12.10.0.Press 2 at the IP main menu to begin the configuration of the IP interface information. Press 1 toadd an IP interface. Select the LAN interface option from the list of possible interface types.
