The waypoint symboldisplays on the map aftera waypoint has beenadded to the route.The waypoint symbol is numbered from one through fivedepending on how many waypoints have been set.The distance to destinationsymbol indicates thedistance to the finaldestination. It only appearswhen time is not availableor when scrolling onthe map.The distance and time todestination symbolindicates the distance andthe estimated timeremaining to the finaldestination or arrival time,depending on the optionselected. See ConfigureMenu on page 2-59.The straight line todistance symbol shows thestraight-line distance toyour destination.This symbol appears before starting to drive on theroute or if the vehicle is on a road where navigationguidance cannot be given.2-8
