Press the CLEANING button.o This tells the printer that a new color ink tank is installed andresets the color ink gauge.N Always reset the ink gauge after installing a new BJ cartridge or a new inktank. If you do not perform this operation, the Low ink warning will notoperate properly.The printer automatically estimates the amount of remaining ink bycounting the number of ink ejections. When the printer runs low on blackor color ink, the Bk or Color indicator starts to blink, indicating that yourprinter will run out of ink shortly. Make sure you have a new ink tankavailable.N If you replace a BJ cartridge or an ink tank with a used one, the printer willbe incapable of estimating the amount of remaining ink. Be sure to replacethe BJ cartridge or an ink tank only with a new one.
