See Clearing PaperJams on page 144 for detailedinstructions on removing jammedpaper.Blinking E and 6 BJ cartridge not The BJ cartridge may not beproperly installed installed or may be installederror incorrectly. Press the CARTRIDGEbutton to move the cartridgeholder to the center and check thatthe BJ cartridge is installed. If thecartridge is not installed, installone. If installed, remove it and tryinstalling it again. See Installing aBJ Cartridge on page 16 orReplacing the BJ Cartridge on page107 for instructions on installingcartridges.Blinking F and C Low battery error The printer can no longer operateon battery power. Turn off theprinter, and plug the AC adapteror the universal adapter into theprinter, or replace the battery packwith a charged one. Then turn theprinter on again. You can start theprint operation again. However,any data sent from your softwareapplication to the printer will belost.Service Call ErrorsBlinking C and 1 Service error Press the ON LINE button. Theprinter resumes operation. Contactyour Canon authorized dealer assoon as possible.Blinking F and 14 Service error Contact your Canon authorizeddealer as soon as possible.
