141Editing FunctionsD Converting Movies to MP4 FormatYou can convert AVCHD scenes or MP4 scenes recorded in the built-inmemory into MP4 scenes on the memory card. In addition to changingthe movie format to the more widely used MP4 format, and dependingon the original scene, you can also select a lower video quality for theconverted scenes (down-conversion) to obtain smaller file sizes. This isconvenient, for example, when you want to upload videos to the Web,as smaller video files will upload more quickly.
