With the Memory Lock or Transfermode, you can also set the machine to receive a document temporarily into memory or transferit to another machine.The set RX mode appears on the touch panel display, and remains active until a different modeis set.■ Memory Lock Mode (Memory Lock):This mode stores received documents into memory without printing. When the machine is in theMemory Lock mode, documents are stored in memory, and printed when the machine is taken out of theMemory Lock mode. Received documents that are stored in memory can be transferred to another faxmachine.NOTE• To set the machine to the Memory Lock mode, set the Memory Lock Setting to 'On' from➞ [SystemSettings]➞ [Communications Settings]➞ [Memory Lock Settings]. (See "Saving Received Documentsto Memory," on p. 6-13.)• Set a password to limit setting/cancellation of the Memory Lock mode, using the [CommunicationsSettings] from the Additional Functions screen.
