Remove the 24 V DC voltage supply to terminal37 by the interrupt device while the frequencyconverter drives the motor (mains supply is notinterrupted). The test step is passed if the motorreacts with a coast and the mechanical brake (ifconnected) is activated.2. Send a Reset signal (via Bus, Digital I/O, or [Reset]key). The test step is passed if the motor remainsin the Safe Stop state, and the mechanical brake(if connected) remains activated.3. Reapply 24 V DC to terminal 37. The test step ispassed if the motor remains in the coasted state, and the mechanical brake (if connected) remainsactivated.4. Send a Reset signal (via Bus, Digital I/O, or [Reset]key). If the motor becomes operational again, thisstep is not necessary.5. If all four test steps are completed successfully, the commissioning test is complete.5.8 Installation of MiscellaneousConnections5.8.1 RS-485 Bus ConnectionOne or more frequency converters can be connected to acontrol (or master) using the RS-485 standardised interface.Terminal 68 is connected to the P signal (TX+, RX+), whileterminal 69 is connected to the N signal (TX-, RX-).If more than one frequency converter is connected to amaster, use parallel connections.130BA060.1168 69 68 69 68 69RS 485RS 232USB +-Illustration 5.104 Parallel ConnectionsHow to Install VLT® AQUA Drive FC 202 Design GuideMG20Z102 - VLT® is a registered Danfoss trademark 1495 5
