3.7.4 Installation of Input Plate OptionsThis section is for the field installation of input option kits for E-frame frequency converters.Do not attempt to remove RFI filters from input plates. Removal of RFI filters from the input plates can cause damage.NOTEWhere RFI filters are available, there are two different types of RFI filters depending on the input plate combination and theRFI filters interchangeable. Field installable kits in certain cases are the same for all voltages.380-480 V [kW]380-500 V [kW]Fuses Disconnect Fuses RFI RFI Fuses RFI DisconnectFusesE1 FC102/FC202: 315FC302: 250176F0253 176F0255 176F0257 176F0258 176F0260FC102/FC202: 355–450FC302: 315–400176F0254 176F0256 176F0257 176F0259 176F0262Table 3.32 Input Options525-690 V [kW] Fuses Disconnect Fuses RFI RFI Fuses RFI DisconnectFusesE1 FC102/FC202: 450-500FC302: 355-400176F0253 176F0255 Not Applicable Not Applicable Not ApplicableFC102/FC202: 560–630FC302: 500–560176F0254 176F0258 Not Applicable Not Applicable Not ApplicableTable 3.33 Input OptionsNOTEFor further information, see the Instruction Sheet,175R57953.7.5 Installation of Mains Shield forFrequency ConvertersThis section is for the installation of a mains shield for thefrequency converter. It is not possible to install in the IP00/Chassis versions as these enclosures include a standard ametal cover. These shields satisfy VBG-4 requirements.Ordering numbers:Frame E1: 176F1851NOTEFor further information, see the Instruction Sheet,175R59233.7.6 D-frame Options3.7.6.1 Load Share TerminalsLoad share terminals enable the connection of the DCcircuits of several frequency converters. Load shareterminals are available in IP20 frequency converters andextend out the top of the frequency converter. A terminalcover, supplied with the frequency converter, must beinstalled to maintain the IP20 rating of the enclosure.Illustration 3.23 shows both the covered and uncoveredterminals.130BC547.10Illustration 3.23 Load Share or Regeneration Terminal with Cover(L) and without Cover (R)3.7.6.2 Regeneration TerminalsRegen (regeneration) terminals can be supplied forapplications that have a regenerative load. A regenerativeunit, supplied by a third party, connects to the regenterminals so that power can be regenerated back onto themains, resulting in energy savings. Regen terminals areavailable in IP20 frequency converters and extend out thetop of the frequency converter. A terminal cover, suppliedwith the frequency converter, must be installed tomaintain the IP20 rating of the enclosure.
