All switch components use the logging subsystem. Components logmessages to the logging component using one of the following severity levels:• Emergency (0): system is unusable• Alert (1): action must be taken immediately• Critical (2): critical conditions• Error (3): error conditions• Warning (4): warning conditions• Notice(5): normal but significant conditions• Informational(6): informational messages• Debug(7): debug-level messagesCLI Logged to Local File and Syslog ServerThe PowerConnect Command Logging component logs all command lineinterface commands issued on the system. The command log messages arestored with the other system logs and provide the system operators with adetailed log of the commands executed.CLI command logging is configured through any of the PowerConnectmanagement interfaces. When the feature is enabled, all CLI commands arelogged using the existing logging subsystems. By default, the feature isdisabled.The CLI command logging severity is set to SEVERITY_NOTICE.
