In addition, this section provides procedures for addingand removing W-IAPs, editing the W-IAP settings, and upgrading the firmware on the W-IAPusing the Dell W-Series Instant UI.Preferred BandAt the top right corner of Dell W-Series Instant UI, click the Settings link. The Settings windowappears.1. In the Settings window, click the General tab.2. Select the Preferred band (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, All) from the drop-down list for single-radio accesspoints.NOTE: Reboot the W-IAP after configuring the radio profile settings in order for the changesto take effect.Auto Join ModeThe Auto Join Mode feature allows W-IAPs to automatically,1. Discover the Virtual Controller.2. Join the network.3. Begin functioning.The Auto Join Mode feature is enabled by default. When the Auto Join Mode feature is disabled,a New link appears in the Access Points tab. Click this link to add W-IAPs to the network. Formore information, see "Adding a W-IAP to the Network" on page 74. In addition, when thisfeature is disabled, W-IAPs that are configured but not active appear in red.Disabling Auto Join ModeTo disable Auto Join Mode:At the top right corner of Dell W-Series Instant UI, click the Settings link.
