Youalso need the Drivers andUtilities CD for yourcomputer to install thedrivers and utilities on thenew hard drive.7 Turn the computer over. Use a small screwdriver to remove the hard-drive screw, and place the screw in a safe location.NOTICE: When the hard drive is not in the computer, store it in protectiveantistatic packaging. See "Protecting Against Electrostatic Discharge" onpage 13.8 Lift up the hard-drive cover until you hear a click.9 Slide the hard drive out of the computer.10 Remove the new drive from its packaging.Save the original packaging to use when storing or shipping the harddrive.NOTICE: Use firm and even pressure to slide the drive into place. If you forcethe hard drive into place using excessive force, you may damage the connector.11 Slide the drive into the bay until it is fully seated in the bay.
