ELECTRIC RANGES AND CLOTHES DRYERSWITH FRAMES GROUNDED BY CONNECTION TOTHE GROUNDED CONDUCTOR, AS PERMITTED BYTHE NEC,T SHOULD NOT BE CONNECTED TO THELOAD CIRCUIT OF THIS AF/GF.Installation instructionsStep 1Turn off main breaker or de-energize theloadcenter.Step 2Switch the AF/GF circuit breaker to OFF bymoving the breaker handle firmly to the OFFposition.Step 3Connect the branch circuit to the breaker (seeFigure 1).• Connect the coiled, white “pigtail” wire,if provided, from the circuit breaker to theneutral bar terminal. Torque neutral bar lugper instructions• Connect the white (neutral) load wire tothe terminal of the circuit breaker marked“LOAD NEUTRAL.” Torque per ratings listedon the breaker• Connect the black (hot) load wire to thecircuit breaker terminal marked “LOAD”.Torque per ratings listed on the breakerStep 4Plug the circuit breaker into the desired poleposition. If breaker is supplied with plug-onneutral feature, plug the neutral clip onto theloadcenter neutral bar by angling the breaker at45° and applying pressure. LESFOURS ÉLECTRIQUES ET LES SÉCHEUSES AVECDES BÂTIS MIS À LA TERRE RACCORDÉ CÔTÉ AUCONDUCTEUR MIS À LA TERRE, COMME PERMISPAR LE CODE ÉLECTRIQUE DU QUÉBEC NE DOIVENTPAS ÊTRE BRANCHÉS AU CIRCUIT DU CHARGEDU AF/GF.Instructions d’installationÉtape 1Ouvrir le disjoncteur principal ou ouvrir le circuitalimentant le panneau de distribution.Étape 2Commuter le disjoncteur de circuit AF/GF à OUVERT en déplaçant la poignée dudisjoncteur fermement à la position OUVERT.Étape 3Raccorder le circuit de dérivation au disjoncteur(voir la Figure 1).• Raccorder le fil « queue de cochon » blanc,bobiné, si fourni, du disjoncteur du circuità la borne de la barre neutre. Appliquerun couple de serrage à la cosse, selon lesinstructions• Raccorder le fil de charge (neutre) blanc àla borne du disjoncteur de circuit marquée« CHARGE NEUTRE ». Appliquer un couplede serrage selon la capacité indiquée surle disjoncteur• Raccorder le fil de charge (sous tension) noirà la borne du disjoncteur de circuit marquée« LOAD ». Appliquer un couple de serrageselon la capacité indiquée sur le disjoncteurÉtape 4Brancher le disjoncteur dans la position désirée.Si le disjoncteur est fourni avec une optionneutre branchée, brancher l’attache neutre surla barre neutre du panneau de distribution enréglant le disjoncteur à un angle de 45° et enappliquant de la pression. Tourner le disjoncteurvers le bas pour le fixer au guide du bus.Étape 5Mettre en marche le disjoncteur en déplaçantla poignée de la position OFF (Ouvert) à laposition ON (Fermé). PRECAUCIÓNOBSERVE LAS TERMINACIONES ADECUADAS DEESTE INTERRUPTOR AF/GF. EL INTERRUPTORAF/GF SE USA CON APLICACIONES MONOFÁSICASDE 120 V~/60 HZ. EL INTERRUPTOR AF/GF UNIPOLARNO PUEDE USARSE PARA PROTEGER CIRCUITOSQUE COMPARTAN NEUTRO. NO RETROALIMENTENI CONECTE POR EL LADO OPUESTO ELINTERRUPTOR AF/GF. NO SOMETA EL EQUIPO AENSAYOS DE MEGÓHMETRO O ALTO VOLTAJECON EL INTERRUPTOR CONECTADO; RETIREEL INTERRUPTOR AF/GF ANTES DE REALIZARENSAYOS DE ALTA TENSIÓN EN EL CIRCUITO.LAS ESTUFAS ELÉCTRICAS Y LAS SECADORAS DEROPA CON CHASIS ATERRIZADO Y CONECTADO ALCABLE A TIERRA, SEGÚN LO PERMITA EL CÓDIGOELÉCTRICO NACIONAL (NEC) DE ESTADOS UNIDOS,NO DEBEN CONECTARSE AL CIRCUITO DE CARGADE ESTE INTERRUPTOR AF/GF.Instrucciones de instalaciónPaso 1Apague el interruptor principal o desenergice elcentro de carga.Paso 2Coloque el interruptor de circuito AF/GFen posición OFF (APAGADO), moviendofirmemente la palanca del interruptor a laposición OFF (APAGADO).Paso 3Conecte el circuito derivado al interruptor(vea la Figura 1).• Si está incluido, conecte el cable blancoen espiral (cable flexible de conexión) delinterruptor de circuito al terminal de la barraneutra. Ajuste el colector o la barra neutrasegún lo señalan las instrucciones.• Conecte el cable blanco (neutro) del ladode carga al terminal del interruptor decircuito con la marca “LOAD NEUTRAL”(NEUTRO DE LA CARGA). Ajuste el cablesegún las indicaciones de torque que figuranen el interruptor.• Conecte el cable negro (carga viva) dellado de carga al terminal del interruptor decircuito con la leyenda “LOAD” (CARGA).Ajuste el cable según las indicaciones detorque que figuran en el interruptor.Paso 4Enchufe el interruptor de circuito en el polodeseado en el panel. Si el interruptor incluye lafunción de neutro enchufable, conecte la pinzaneutra en la barra neutra del centro de carga,colocando el interruptor en un ángulo de 45° yaplicando presión. Gire el interruptor hacia abajopara ajustar el interruptor a la barra colectora.Paso 5Encienda el interruptor moviendo la palancade la posición OFF (APAGADO) a la posiciónON (ENCENDIDO).
