6 Parameter6.8 Displaying operational dataDE1… Variable Speed Starter 11/16 MN040011EN www.eaton.com 1136.8 Displaying operational dataThe variable speed starter’s operational data can be displayed using theextended parameter set (P-14 = 101, → Page 83):• External DX-KEY-LED keypad: Press the OK button while viewingparameter P00.• drivesConnect parameter configuration software: Open the “Monitor”directory. The measured and calculated operational data will be listed as P00-01 toP00-20. When using a DX-KEY-LED keypad, the operational data shown canbe selected using the ▲ and ▼ and the OK button. Once the OK button ispressed, the current parameter will be shown constantly (“set displayvalue”). In order to access a different indicator value, you will need to pressthe OK button again.Example: Status displaysThe status of the digital inputs will be represented as single bits (0000 = DI1,DI2, DI3, DI4). They can be used to monitor whether a control signal (e.g.,from an external PLC) activates the variable speed starter’s inputs (DI1 - DI4).This is an easy way to check wiring (wire breakage). Following are a fewexamples:→ Operational data values cannot be changed manually (i.e., byentering values by hand).→ The display/monitoring parameters are listed on → Page 168.Figure 72: Example with external PLCAI1DI4DI3DI2DI14321+10 VX1+10 V< 20 mA0 V+24 V+10...+24 V DC
