Ask foran Edison screw fitting 15w 240vlamp, FOR OVENS. It must be a spe-cial bulb, heat resistant to 300°C.Open the oven door and remove theHandyrack (if fitted) and ovenshelves.Turn off the power supply.Unscrew the bulb cover by turninganticlockwise. Unscrew the old bulb.Screw in the new bulb. Screw on thebulb cover. Turn on the electricitysupply and check that the bulb nowlights.Hotplate ignition orhotplate burners faultyIs the power on? Is the clock illumi-nated? If not there maybe somethingwrong with the power supply.Are the sparker (ignition electrode) orburner slots blocked by debris?Is the burner trim correctly located?Are the burner caps correctly lo-cated?See the section entitled ‘Cleaningyour cooker’Check that there is not a problem withyour gas supply. If a wet sponge orcloth is used to wipe spills on a hotsurface, be careful to avoid steamburns.
