It shall be installed and con-nected in accordance with current in-stallation regulations. Particular at-tention shall be given to the relevantrequirements regarding ventilation.Local regulations regarding ventila-tion must be adhered to but as a mini-mum:All rooms require an openable win-dow or equivalent, while some roomsrequire a permanent vent in additionto the openable window. The cookershould not be installed in a bedsittingroom with volume less than 20m 3 . If itis installed in a room of volume lessthan 5m 3 an air vent of effective area100cm2 is required; if it is installed ina room of volume between 5m3 and10m3 , an air vent of effective area50cm 2 is required; while if the volumeexceeds 11m3 , no air vent is required.However, if the room has a door thatopens directly to the outside, no airvent is required even when the roomvolume is between 5m 3 and 10m 3 .
