It will notbe possible to open the oven door until thetemperature drops below the lock temperatureand LOCKED/DOOR_ goes off in the controldisplay.[] Use the number pads and enter thedesired clean time.You can change the clean time to any timebetween 3 hours and 5 hours, depending onhow dirty your oven is.After a Self-Clean CycleYou may notice some white ash in the oven.Wipe it up with a damp cloth after the ovencools.If white spots remain, remove them with asoap-filled steel wool pad and rinsethoroughlywith a vinegar and water mixture.Thesedeposits are usually a salt residue thatcannot be removed by the clean cycle.If the oven is not clean after one clean cycle,repeat the cycle.You cannot set the oven for cooking until theoven is cool enough for the door to unlock.While the oven is self-cleaning, you can touchCLOCKto display the time of day. To return tothe clean countdown, touch SELFCLEAN.Standard RacksIf they become hard to slide, wipe their sideedges and the oven rack supports with cookingoil.Extension RackIf it becomes difficult to slide, see ExtensionRack in the Care and cleaning section. Do notspray extension rack with cooking spray orother lubricant sprays.If it becomes hard to remove or replace, wipethe oven rack supports with cooking oil. Do notwipe cooking oil on the slides.NOTE:After the first self-clean cycle, the graystainlesssteel surfaces will change color onenameled extension rocks. This is normal. It isnot recommended to self-dean nickel extensionracks as the whole rock will discolor because ofthe self-clean temperatures.23
