Then polish the cooking compartment andthe panel with a soft cloth.Descaling programTo keep your appliance in good working order, youhave to descale the cooking compartment regularly.Especially the area behind the side plate should bedescaled regularly. Depending on water hardness andfrequency of use, you will need to descale yourappliance more often, especially for applianceversions with enameled cooking compartments.Be careful not to scratch the oven interior whenremoving the side plate. Ensure that no small parts fallinto the base strainer. Tip: put a kitchen cloth over theoven base.DescalerFor descaling, use only the liquid descalerrecommended by after-sales service (order # 667025from after-sales service or in the online shop). Otherdescaling agents can cause damage to the appliance.9 CAUTIONSurface damageWipe off descaler immediately with water if itreaches the door seal, the front or othersensitive surfaces.9 CAUTIONSurface damageDo not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents orobjects for descaling.Notes‒ If using the descaling and neutralizing filter(special accessory GF 111 100):clean and descale the cooking compartment eachtime you change the filter cartridge. If it is notnecessary to descale the cooking compartment,clean it with the oven interior care agent.‒ We recommend, in combination with the descaler,our oven interior care agent for stainless-steelcare and to neutralize descaler residues (order #667027 from after-sales service or in the onlineshop). Confirm with ™.4 Place the side plate separately in the sink andspray on descaler Leave to act for a few minutes.Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.9 CAUTIONDo not let the descaling solution come intocontact with surfaces that are sensitive toacid (e.g. marble worktops)!5 Spray descaler onto the areas in the cookingcompartment where limescale has developed andleave to act for 1 - 3 minutes.
