Cadence data fromthe GSC10 is always recorded.The speed data from the GSC10is only recorded and used fordistance calculation when GPSsignal is weak or GPS is turnedoff.For information about setting andusing cadence alerts, see page27.Barometric AltimeterThe Edge 305 contains abarometric altimeter for extremelyaccurate elevation and verticalprofile data.Press mode to view the Altimeterpage. Once you start the timerand begin to move, a black line,shaded gray below, appearson the page, plotting elevationduring your ride. At the bottomof the page, you can view thezoom level. To zoom in or outon the page, press the andarrows. At the top of the mappage, your elevation and totalascent data appears.NOTE: You cannot customize thedata fields on the Altimeter page.
