This additional waypoint is used as anaid in establishing the holding pattern—especially where the MAP and MAHP are thesame waypoint.2. Follow the mssed approach procedures, aspublshed on your approach plate, for properclmb and headng nstructons. The 400W-seres unt wll gude you to the holdng pattern,along the 053° radal from LYH VOR.3. An alert message n the lower rght hand cornerof the screen wll recommend entry proceduresfor the holdng pattern (.e., “HOLD DIRECT”,“HOLD PARALLEL”, or “HOLD TEARDROP”).As you fly the holdng pattern, a tmer appearson the default NAV page. The tmer automat-cally resets on the outbound sde of the holdwhen you are abeam the hold waypont. Thetmer agan resets as you turn nbound (wthnapproxmately 30° of the nbound course). Thsallows you to use standard tmng (typcally onemnute) to fly the nbound and outbound legsof the hold.
