See page 5 for instructions.• When in actual use, carefully compare indications from theTrail Guide to all available navigation sources, includinginformation from other street signs, visual sightings, andmaps. For safety, always resolve any discrepancies beforecontinuing navigation.• Do not input destinations, change settings, or access anyfunctions that require prolonged use of the unit’s controlswhile you are driving. Pull over in a safe and legal mannerand location before you attempt such operations.• Do not use the navigation system to route you to emergencyservices such as police and fire stations or hospitals andclinics. Not all emergency service locations are contained inthe database. Please use your judgment and ask for directionsin such situations.• When driving, minimize the amount of time you spendviewing the screen. Glance at the screen only whennecessary and safe to do so. If prolonged viewing of thescreen is necessary, pull over at a safe location.• Road conditions and regulations take precedence overinformation contained on the map. Observe actual trafficrestrictions and circumstances while driving.• Situations may occur where the navigation systemerroneously displays the vehicle’s location. Use your owndriving judgment in this situation, taking into account currentdriving conditions. Please be aware that in this situation, thenavigation system should automatically correct the vehicle’sposition within a few minutes.
