Brakes14 _ Service Brake PedalGradually step on the brake pedal to decelerateand stop the machine. The pedal operates on thefront axle.Fully depressing the brake pedal causes a reset ofthe displacement of the power drive pump and makesthe braking action more powerful.12 _ Parking Brake LeverTo engage the parking brake, pull the lever upwardwhile holding the locking button pressed down.Release the button when reaching the requiredbraking tension. It operates on the axle shafts of therear axle and, when engaged, it cuts both forwardand reverse gear off.CAU T I ONNever use the parking brake to slow down themachine, unless in an emergency. It may reducethe brake efficiency.Accelerator Control13 _ Throttle PedalIts pressure controls the engine rpm and the machinespeed. It is fitted with an adjustable stop in the lowerpart.17 _ Manual AcceleratorBy pulling the lever up, the engine rpm increasesgradually. To reduce the rpm, set the lever down.The manual gas control can only be used withman-platform, winch, mixing bucket, hook andmaintenance jib.Controls and InstrumentsSafety and Emergency Devices33 _ Hazard Warning Lights SwitchFitted with on-off position, it switcheson the turn signals simultaneously.When the hazard warning light is lit, therelevant switch and the turn signals lightstart flashing.8 _ Emergency Stop PushbuttonBy pressing this button, the engine ofthe machine is shut down.Before restarting the machine, it isnecessary to reset the pushbutton byrotating it clockwise.29 _ Emergency Pump SwitchTwo position switch:0 OFF1 Hold pressed down to turn on theelectric pump and operate the controlsCAU T I ONCheck the operation of the emergency pump everyweek as it could get damaged if it is not used.6 _ Load Limiter Disable SelectorThe load limiter can be deactivated operating thekey-selector placed under the protection cover.DANGERWORKING WITH THE LOAD LIMITING SYSTEM CUT OUT CANRESULT IN A MACHINE OVERTURNING AND IN SERIOUSINJURY.The load limiting system disconnect key is activeonly in the Jobsite mode.
