MaintenanceADJUSTING THE SLIDING PADS OF THE BOOMSECTIONSAny boom section is fitted with adjustable padslocated on the four sides of the profile. These padsare secured to both fixed and mobile part of everysection.All pads can be adjusted by the special shims suppliedby TEREXLIFT upon demand.Adjusting the pads: Remove or loosen the screws fixing the pads inrelation to type of shims used (with or withoutslots). Fit the necessary amount of shims. If the residual thickness of the pad is insufficientor near the maximum wearing limit, renew thepad. Tighten the screws fixing the pads at therecommended torque (see below).
