Its functionis to protect theboom from vibra-tion and shockthereby prolongingboom life. It alsohelps to keepthe boom auniform height from the target. See also sections Lubri-cation and Re-adjustment of the boom.At delivery the boom is locked in pos. 2 which is usedwhen driving on horizontal grounds. When driving onslopes the boom can be slanted in pos. 1 or 3 in order tokeep the trapeze effect. Hydraulic slanting can besupplied as optional extra.If Hydraulic Slanting Control is fitted, another doubleacting outlet is required.
