After the pause,reconnect the AC power cord and checkthe unit’s operation. If the system stillmalfunctions, a system reset may clearthe problem.To clear the system’s memory, press andhold the MEMO Ú and CLEAR Ûbuttons at the same time for a fewseconds. After clearing the memory it willbe necessary to re-establish all systemconfiguration information and tunerpresets.If the system is still operating incorrectly,there may have been an electrostaticdischarge or severe AC line interferencethat has corrupted the memory ormicroprocessor.If a reset does not solve the problem,consult an authorized Harman Kardonservice depot.AVR80 manual 11/01/98 13:01 Side 35
