AM-800CL / AB-800CL- 15 -Fig. 8 Iris video output signal5.3.2 Trigger inputAn external trigger input can be applied to pin#10 ofthe 12-pin Hirose connector (when the command TI=1has been set). The input is AC coupled. To allow longpulses the input circuit is designed as a flip-flopcircuit. The leading and trailing edges of the triggerpulse activate the circuit. The trigger polarity can be changed by TA(TriggerActivation).Trigger input level is 4 V 2 V.Trigger can also be applied through the Camera Linkconnector, when the command TI=0 has been sent.Fig.9 Trigger input circuit5.3.3 XEEN outputXEEN is on pin#9 of the 12-pin Hirose connector. The output uses either a complementaryemitter follower circuit or open-collector.The output of the complementary emitterfollower circuit is 3 V (no termination). When the open collector output is used, themaximum current is 120mA. However, if thecurrent is more than 50mA, use thicker cablefor connecting pins #8 and #9. If a thinnercable is used, it might cause a malfunctiondue to the resistance of the cable. The output can be selected by switch SW500located inside the camera (trigger IF board).EEN is also found in Camera Link.Fig.10 XEEN output from Hirse-12pin○+5V+5VTrigger INI BTrigger INI A10000.1μTriggerIN 0.1μ 1K1K22K15K3K100K●●●●● ●●●●● ● ●●●●●●● ●● ●●●○ XEENOpenCollectorTTLSW500EEN150120101010K2200.1μ1801K1K10010K0.1μ+5V+5V
