After R E A D O U T and setting up of theprogrammed panel conditions, the panel settings canbe changed manually as desired. However, sincethese changes will not be written to memory, thenext time this step is executed, the data will be readout in its original form.If the P R O G S T E P s w i t c h is held down continuous-ly for longer than 0 . 5 s e c , the machine will operatein the S K I P mode, and the S T E P NUMBER will ad-vance continuously. When the PROG S T E P s w i t c his released, the data in the current step will be readout, and the panel conditions will be set up accord-ingly. A BNC terminal is provided on the back panelto enable external control of the PROG S T E P switch.This can be controlled by the T T L level w h i c h , whenset to " L " , advances the step count by 1 . T h i s con-trol can be accomplished using a foot switch or otherdevice.NOTE 1 : The Program R E A D mode will not operate whenall the steps are set to " S K I P " .NOTE 2: T h e P R O G S T E P control terminal on the backpanel can be used only in the Program R E A Dmode.c) T h e Program W R I T E mode is terminated by onceagain pressing the AT • MAT and T R A C K s w i t c h e ssimultaneously. Program SettingsThere are one hundred possible program steps, numbered1 through 1 0 0 . In the Program W R I T E mode, the stepnumber advances one step at a time, from 1 to 100, eachtime the PROG S T E P switch is pressed. After Step 1 0 0 ,the next step returns the counter to Step 1 .In the Program R E A D mode, the steps from 1 to 1 0 0 aredivided into 5 B L O C K S containing 2 0 steps each. E a c htime the P R O G S T E P s w i t c h is pressed, the step num-ber advances one step at a time within the current block.Pressing AVI and AV2 simultaneously in the PROG RUNmode advances the step number automatically to the firststep of the next block.B L O C K 1 " S T E P - R 1 " to " S T E P - R 2 0 'B L O C K 2 " S T E P - R 2 1 " to " S T E P - R 4 0 'B L O C K 3 " S T E P - R 4 1 " to " S T E P - R 6 0 'B L O C K 4 " S T E P - R 6 1 " to " S T E P - R 8 0 'B L O C K 5 " S T E P - R 8 1 " to " S T E P - R 1 0 0 '29
