4 TRANSMISSION/ RECEPTION/ REPEAT / 4.12 Waiting to Receive on the Transmit Frequency (Standby onTransmit Frequency)91FUNC (E)/ Ver 2.004.12 Waiting to Receive on the Transmit Frequency (Standby on Transmit Frequency)Standby on Transmit Frequency is the function to wait to receive on the transmit frequency configured for eachchannel while the repeater is in the standby mode. For instance, a subscriber having a subscriber unit may be within several meters of the repeater if the repeater systemis placed within a building, other than the roof of a building or mountain top. In such a case, if the repeater is locked onthe frequency that TX VCO is preprogrammed, the subscriber unit may become busy due to chassis radiation from therepeater even if the repeater is not transmitting. The same phenomenon may occur during a repeater operation checkwhile installing the system or demonstrating. This function must be disabled if the repeater waits to receive on afrequency shifted from the transmit frequency. If Standby on Transmit Frequency is disabled, this trouble can be avoided because the repeater waits to receiveshifting the TX VCO by 18.75 kHz while the repeater is in the standby mode. However, the rise time of transmission isdelayed if this function is disabled; therefore, we recommend enabling this function except in the above-mentionedcases.Configuration using KPG-D7・ Configuring Standby on Transmit Frequency to be enabled or disabled ( Edit > Optional Features > CommonPage 1 > Standby on Transmit Frequency)
