The hold isautomatically activated if the telephone ison a CO Line and either the [INTER-COM] or [PAGE] keys are pressed.NOTE: If no digits have been dialed onan outgoing call, the CO Line will bedropped automatically. The LCD will dis-play the text “Transfer •” for approximate-ly 10-seconds then return to default if nostation number is entered (seeTransferring a Call to Another Stationbelow).A double beep hold reminder tone isheard approximately every 30-seconds atthe holding station (unless the holdreminder is disabled in programmingmode). The hold is abandoned after 20minutes if no telephone picks up the COLine and the holding telephone has noother activity. The hold reminder and holdabandon timer are automatically activat-ed with the hold feature.The hold is released by any system tele-phone pressing the held [CO Line] key.Transferring a Call to AnotherStationTo transfer a CO Line to another systemtelephone, press the [HOLD/TRANSFER]key. The LCD will display:Dial the station number to receive thecall. The CO Line will be transferredautomatically. The transferee will hearthe CO transfer ring. The transferor willactivate the hold reminder (unless thehold reminder is disabled in programmingmode). All system telephones can pickup the transferred CO Line. NOTE: Thetransfer feature will automatically cancelif a station number is not entered withinapproximately 10-seconds of pressingthe [HOLD/TRANSFER] key.Release OperationPressing the [RELEASE] key will end thefunction that is active. If off-hook, the unitwill return to on-hook and the display willreturn to idle. If programming, the unitwill exit programming mode without mak-ing any changes and the display willreturn to idle.Redial and (Auto)RedialTo redial the last number dialed, up to24-digits; obtain an idle CO Line with thehandset, handsfree or headset. Press the[(AUTO)REDIAL] key. The telephone willdial the number automatically. The LCDwill display the same as when making anoutgoing call with the handset.The phone can automatically redial anumber up to 10 times. With the tele-phone on-hook and in an idle state,press the [(AUTO)REDIAL] key twicewithin 3-seconds. The telephone willautomatically pick up an idle CO Lineand dial the last dialed number. The tele-phone will remain off-hook for 30-sec-onds and busy tone may be audible. Ifnothing is done, the telephone then goeson-hook for 30-seconds.
