There are five locations for Local AreaCodes. Programming a Local Area Codewill cause the Caller ID number to dis-play and dial a call in a 10-digit format.Program each area code that you canmake 10-digit calls to. To program theArea Codes, enter the programmingmode and turn the [JOG] knob until thedisplay shows AREA CODEs. The LCDwill display:Press the NAVIGATION [>] key to beginprogramming the Area Codes. Rotate the[JOG] knob to select the type of areacode. The LCD will display:then••NOTE: In the above examples, no areacodes are programmed. Numbers wouldreplace the text “(empty)” if a locationwere previously programmed.Press the NAVIGATION [>] key to beginprogramming one of the area codes.Enter the three digits using the keypad.For example the LCD will display:Use the NAVIGATION [<] key to movethe cursor left or erase a number. Pressthe [Save] key to confirm the selection.After approximately five seconds, the dis-play will return to the highest level of thecurrent setting. Repeat the above stepsto program additional area codes.Reset All ProgrammingThis feature returns all programming tothe factory default settings. It erases theCaller ID records, Directory and SpeedDial programming at the station. NOTE:The Public Directory will be temporarilyerased, but will regain its programmingshortly after the reset is complete. Toperform the Reset All function, enter theprogramming mode and turn the [JOG]knob until the display shows RESETALL. The LCD will display:Press the NAVIGATION [>] key to beginthe Reset All process.
