Electra Elite IPK II Document Revision 4CProgrammable Function Keys 2 - 815Programmable Function KeysDescriptionEach multiline terminal has Programmable Function Keys. Programmable Function Keys simplifyplacing calls, answering calls and using certain features. You can customize the function of a multilineterminal’s programmable keys from each multiline terminal. Depending on your telephone style, you canhave either 4, 8, 16 or 32 Programmable Function keys.Conditions When a key is programmed using service code 752, it cannot be programmed with afunction using the 751 code until the key is undefined (000). For example with a Park Keyprogrammed by dialing 752 + 04 must be undefined by dialing 000 before it can beprogrammed as a Voice Over key by dialing 751 + 48. Using Program 92-01 to copy a multiline terminal Programmable Function Keys copies allthe keys whether or not they exist on the telephone to which the programming is beingcopied. This may cause confusion when trying to define a key which is already defined butwhich does not exist on the telephone (displays as DUPLICATE DATA). It is recommend toeither clear these non-existent keys or to only copy from an extension which has the sameor fewer number of keys than the extension to which the programming is being copied. When using Program 15-07-01 to program a D16(LD)-R ADM, regardless of the type ofmultiline terminal connected, start programming the D16(LD)-R ADM keys at key number17. Service codes 751 and 752 can also be used to program these keys. Speed Dialing and One-Touch Calling also offer quick access to calls and features. Programming a 60-button console requires separate programming.EnhancementsVersion 1500 or higher: Allows DSS/One-Touch keys to be used for one-touch transfer without using Transfer. DSS keys distinguish whether the telephone is set for DND/Call Forward All Calls of if the telephone isoff-hook.In Version 1600 or higher, when a Ring Group call rings a station, a BLF Indication for this station shows idle orbusy based on a new Class of Service option (20-13-49). Prior to this release, the BLF Indication showed busy.
