9-54 Upgrading Your ServerInstallationTake the following steps to install a PCI card on the riser card:IMPORTANT: Each riser card supports low-profile or full-height PCI cards. Beforeinstalling a PCI card, confirm that the type of the PCI card. When installing a PCI card, confirm that the card connector matchesthe connector of the riser card.1. See page 197 to prepare.2. Pull out the server from the rack (as described on page 197).3. Remove the logic cover (as described on page 214).4. Hold the riser card handle and bracket as shown in the figure below, and remove the risercard.If the card is hard to remove, hold down the server while lifting the card.NOTE: Be very careful not to contact the other component.5.
