Use only NEC SuperScript 1400Series Toner Cartridges in this printer. Other cartridges willnot work!P RECAUTIONSPlease take the following precautions when performingmaintenance tasks• Do not work inside the Top or Back Covers of the printeruntil it has cooled.• Do not use ammonia-based cleaners. They may reactwith the toner in the cartridge.• Do not use alcohol-based cleaners on the printer exterior.They may damage the plastic case.• Do not expose the Toner Cartridge to direct sunlight orbright room light.• Do not spill any liquid inside the printer or in the powercord connector.• Turn off and unplug the printer while working inside thecovers.• Follow all directions carefully. Save this user’s guide forfuture reference.• Do not attempt to service the printer yourself sinceopening some internal parts may expose you to highvoltage or other hazards.
