Host Connection Settings80 SSH Connection SettingsSSH Connection SettingsThe SSH (Secure Shell) client/server protocol is used to encrypt andtransmit data securely over a network, with authentication (proof ofclient identity) provided by a password and/or key.Connection Wizard To specify an SSH host connection in the Connection Wizard HostInformation dialog, click the TCP/IP button then select SSH in thelist box next to it. Enter the name or internet address of the hostcomputer in the Host Name box, then click the Configure button todisplay the SSH Connection dialog.Set the Host Port Number to the host's SSH port (22 is the defaultfor SSH), and specify the Terminal Type.Emulator Window To specify an SSH host connection in the TeemTalk emulatorwindow, select New Connection in the File menu, then set the Typeoption to SSH. Specify the host to Connect To, then click theConfigure button to display the SSH Connection dialog.Note: You may need to change thePort Number in theTelnetOptions dialog to the host's SSH port (22 is the default for SSH).Click theTelnet Options button in theNew Connection dialog.
