TheEC characters are displayed in the key definition line by pressing theEsc key or the keys Ctrl + [ together when Display Functions modeis enabled. Note that you must enter the entire escape sequencebefore disabling Display Functions mode (by pressing F7 again).When Display Functions is enabled, the Return key may be used toinsert carriage return codes (CR) in the string. If Auto LF mode isselected in the Mode Selection function menu, Return will generatea line feed (LF) code as well as carriage return.To change an f-key/button string definition, use the Tab or Shift +Tab keys to move the cursor onto the second line (the line followingLABEL definition for that key/button) and type in the new definitionwhich can consist of a maximum of 80 characters.When you have finished defining f-key/button strings, press the F9key to exit the menu. When an attribute or set of attributes are enabled, theyaffect all subsequently displayed characters until an end attributecommand or another attribute command is received, or the end of theline is reached. Attributes remain at the display location where theywere enabled and will not move when characters are inserted ordeleted.You can configure the f-keys and buttons so that they will enablethese attributes when pressed.
