Failure to observe this precaution could result in overheating or damage tothe camera.Status DescriptionFlashes The battery is charging.On The battery is fully charged.Flashes quickly• The battery is set incorrectly. Disconnect the BatteryCharger from the electrical outlet, remove the battery, andthen reset the battery to lie flat in the Battery Charger.• The ambient temperature is not suited to charging. Chargethe battery indoors with an ambient temperature of 5°C to35°C (41°F to 95°F).• There is a problem with the battery. Immediatelydisconnect the Battery Charger from the electrical outlet,and stop charging. Take the battery and Battery Charger toyour retailer or Nikon-authorized service representative.
