M e n u f u n c t i o n s41EnglishYou will see a note on the phonedisplay if the identity of the WAPserver or WAP gateway cannot beverified, the WAP server or WAPgateway certificate is not authenticor if you do not have the rightcertificate in your phone.To view the list of securitycertificates:1. In the Services menu, scroll toSettings and press Select.2. Scroll to Security certificatesand press Select.Security iconIf the security icon ( ) is displayedduring a WAP connection, the datatransmission between the phone andthe WAP gateway or WAP server isencrypted and secure. The WAPgateway or WAP server is identifiedby the IP address (if the bearer isData) setting in the Connectionsettings.However, the security icon does notindicate that the data transmissionbetween the gateway and thecontent server (place where therequested resource is stored) issecure. It is up to the service providerto secure the data transmissionbetween the gateway and thecontent server. SIM services(Menu 11)This menu is shownonly if your SIM card providesadditional services.
