Call barring affects allcalls, including data calls.When calls are barred, calls still may be possible to certainofficial emergency numbers.NetworkYour device can automatically switch between the GSMand UMTS networks. The GSM network is indicated within the standby mode. The UMTS network is indicatedwith .Network mode (shown only if supported by theoperator)—Select which network to use. If you select Dualmode, the device uses the GSM or UMTS networkautomatically, according to the network parameters andthe roaming agreements between the network operators.Contact your network operator for more details.Operator selection—Select Automatic to set the deviceto search for and select one of the available networks, orManual to manually select the network from a list ofnetworks. If the connection to the manually selectednetwork is lost, the device sounds an error tone and asksyou to reselect a network.
