Yourdevice combines stereo sound, storage capacity for up to6000 songs, over-the-air music downloads, access to yourmusic collection and smartphone functionality with Wi-Fiand 2Mpix camera.Hard driveYour device is equipped with a 8 GB hard drive providinghigh capacity of storage room for different kind of files.Sensors in the device will stop the hard drive if theoperating temperature is too low or too high, if the deviceis dropped, or if the back cover of the device is removed.Hard drives are fragile components that must be handledwith care. All impacts caused by shock, vibration,bumping, and dropping or other mishandling of thedevice, as well as extreme temperatures, humidity andliquids, may cause the hard drive to malfunction and datato be lost or corrupted.Do not remove the back cover when the device is switchedon.View memory consumptionLeaving applications running in the background increasesthe demand on battery power and reduces the battery life.To close applications running in the background, press andhold to show open applications, scroll to anapplication, press , and select Yes to confirm.To view what types of data you have in the device and howmuch memory the different data types consume, press, and select Tools > Hard drive.
