As a hardwarecomputing device, the Access Gateway requires careful handling. It should be positioned in adust-free and temperature-controlled environment. Never block the unit’s ventilation holes, anddo not stack with other equipment (unless correctly mounted in a rack). If you suspect the unitis overheating, check that the internal cooling fan is operating correctly. The fan should runfreely and silently at all times. The power cord and the UTP patch cables must have anunrestricted path between the unit and their destinations. Ensure that the RJ45 connectors arefirmly located in their receptacles. Applying these guidelines should ensure trouble-freeoperation.
