Once connected with the Central Station, peopleon the premises can communicate with the operator usingthe GC3 Panel’s built-in speaker and microphone.Choose one of these options:» Disabled: Turns the feature OFF.» †Stay On Line: Turns the feature ON andautomatically enables the 2-Way Voice feature aftera burglary alarm.» Stay On Line, Including Fire & CO Alarms: Turns thefeature ON and automatically enables the 2-WayVoice feature after a burglary, fire, and/or carbonmonoxide alarm.When the Control Panel connects with the operator, it willbeep once every six seconds. The beep alternates betweentwo tones and indicates the Control Panel is waiting for asession command. If the operator fails to issue a commandwithing three (3) minutes), the call is terminated. Once theoperator presses a command option, the beeps will stopand a three (3)-minute audio session will start.When two (2)-way voice communications have beenestablished, the Central Station operator can use thefollowing telephone keys to control the communications.Each time the operator uses a command key, the sessionis extended for three (3) additional minutes. During the lastminute of communications, the system beeps two (2) timesevery 15 seconds to indicate that time is running out.» Tap 1 to enable Talk mode one (1)-waycommunication from the Central Station to thepremises and allow the operator to talk.» Tap 2 to enable VOX mode two (2)-waycommunications from the Central Station to thepremises.» Tap 3 to enable Listen mode one (1)-waycommunication from the premises to the CentralStation.» Tap 7 to extend the session five (5) minutes withoutchanging the mode of operation.» Tap 9 to end the audio session and terminate thecall.Q9: Disable siren after two-way audioConfigures the system to automatically turn the alarm sirenON or OFF after the end of a 2-Way Voice session.
