You can specifyport-based monitoring or address-based monitoring. In a stack configuration, youcan monitor ports that reside on different units within the stack.For more information about the port mirroring feature, see “Port Mirroring(Conversation Steering)” on page 1-97.Figure 3-29 shows an example of a Port Mirroring Configuration screen, in a stackconfiguration, where port 12 (in stack unit 3) is designated as the monitoring portfor ports 5 and 6 of stack unit 4. When installed as a standalone switch, the screendoes not display the (Unit/) field designation.Choose Port Mirroring Configuration (or press i) from the Switch ConfigurationMenu to open the Port Mirroring Configuration screen.Last 5 Minutes This read-only field indicates the percentage of packets (of the type specified in theTraffic Type field) the port used in the last 5 minutes.
